A TEENAGER has appeared before Blackburn magistrates charged with drug supply offences which the prosecution claim made him £30,000 in a year.
Joshua Malcolm Atkinson, 18, of North Valley Road, Colne, but formerly of Pendle Avenue, Chatburn, was sent on bail to Preston Crown Court charged with possessing ecstasy with intent to supply, possessing ketamine and supplying ecstasy.

Simon Farnsworth, defending, said his client would be pleading guilty to the charges if amendments were made to the periods of time over which the offences were alleged to have been committed.
He said if the case had come to court within the normal time frame his client would still have been a juvenile.
“He made admissions in March and had proceedings commenced quickly he would have been dealt with in the youth court,” said Mr Farnsworth. “As it is he has to face charges in the crown court.”
