POLICE dogs have been called to Burnley after reports a man was trying to break into a house wearing a Hallowe'en mask.
The incident has happened in in the early hours of this morning and a 36-year-old man from Burnley was caught by a police dog wedged in between the seats of a nearby Vauxhall Corsa.

The incident happened at 1.15am and the man is due to be quizzed by officers this morning.
Sergeant Conrad Tapp said: "We were called to Casterton Avenue at 1.15am this morning to reports a man wearing a Hallowe'en mask was trying to break in to a house.
"Officers and a police dog were deployed and a male offender was found wedged between the front and rear seat of a Vauxhall Corsa parked on the street. He was sill in possession of the Hallowe'en mask.
"A 36-year-old man from Burnley has been arrested and remains in custody."
Anyone with information can call police on 101, quoting log number 036 of August 21.
