Motorcyclist injured after colliding with sheep
A MOTORCYCLIST has been taken to hospital after their bike hit a sheep this afternoon.
The sheep died after the incident which happened in Pendle Hill outside the Wellsprings Restaurant at around 5pm.
A police spokesman said the motorcyclist has some injuries and has been taken to hospital, although the injuries are not thought to be serious.
He said follow-up enquiries are on-going.
