The warrant allows 24 hours for the group to vacate the council-owned land and if the warning is passed, then the courts would be notified.
A council spokesman said: "Council officers have issued a notice today requiring the illegal encampment to vacate the land at Harvey Street in Oswaldtwistle within 24 hours.
"If this isn't complied with, the council will apply to the court for a possession order, which, if granted, would require the illegal encampment to move off the land within 24 hours."
