A MAN has been jailed after being convicted of stealing thousands of pounds from his former employer in Blackburn.
Anthony John Grady, 54, of Jacks Key Drive, Darwen, was given 14 months imprisonment after appearing before Judge Mark Brown at Preston Crown Court earlier this month.

That sentence related to charges of theft as an employee and forging signatures on cheques intending to make a gain.
At a previous hearing Blackburn magistrates heard Grady stole £2,500 from Abbey Telecom and forged signatures on cheques intending to make a gain of £12,000 for himself.
