A FORMER East Lancashire police officer is set to face a misconduct hearing later this month.
PC Jayson Lobo, from Blackburn, allegedly sent electronic communications to third parties on numerous occasions, which contained details and/or images of police incidents and commentary on those incidents.
The allegations are in breach of the Standards of Professional Behaviour set out in Schedule 2 to the Police (Conduct) Regulations 2012.
Lobo, who worked as a response officer in Preston before his arrest and subsequent suspension in December, also had stints in Burnley, Colne and Haslingden.
The hearing takes place at Best Western Hotel in Leyland on August 9 and 10. The public are excluded.
Lobo also faces a separate criminal trial at Liverpool Crown Court over 17 allegations of voyeurism committed against eight women.
