Mustard, of Lockside, Blackburn, pleaded guilty to criminal damage to property belonging to Jordan Westwell. She was ordered to pay £250 compensation.

Tracey Yates, prosecuting, said police were called to De Lacey House in Preston New Road to a report of a domestic.

There had been a row over Mustard moving out and Mr Westwell said he was going to call the police.

"He ended up locking himself in the bathroom to make the call and she used a bike frame to attack the door and cause a hole in the wall," said Mrs Yates.

"She had thrown his guitar and keyboard out of the window and put his guitar pedals down the toilet."

Mr Westwell told police he had bought the guitar 12 years ago for £500.

Mustard said she started to cause damage to get him out of the bathroom and stop him calling the police.

She said she was upset and didn't want him to make her move out.

Aftab Bakhat, defending, said during the time she was living with Mr Westwell his client, who had no previous convictions, had repeatedly found evidence of him being unfaithful to her.

"She decided the relationship was over and she had to leave and they had what she thought was an adult conversation," said Mr Bakhat.
