HUNDREDS of families had fun in the sun and rain when the fairground came to town – and there is more to come.
Mega Value Fun Parks has been in Witton Park since last week and families have until Sunday to have a go on the spectacular rides.
Children have also had the chance to meet popular fictional characters, including the Mad Hatter, White Rabbit and Alice from Alice in Wonderland as well as Elsa, Anna and Olaf from Frozen.
A spokesman said: “A fun filled mega family theme park is waiting for you with white knuckle rides bursting with action and pure family fun rides.”
Entry is £5 and includes unlimited rides for three hours. The sessions run from 1pm to 4pm, 3pm to 6pm and 6pm to 9pm.
The fun park moves to Carr Road, Nelson, from August 4 to August 14.
