POLICE diverted traffic this afternoon after a crash in Blackburn town centre.
The incident took place close to the junction of Salford and Cicely Lane around midday when a red Honda and blue taxi collided.

Two fire crews, two police cars and an ambulance attended the scene.
Police diverted traffic up Cicely Lane.
A police officer at the scene said they were dealing with a “minor injury” collision.
One man and one woman were treated at the scene for minor injuries.
The taxi driver Yakub Sidet, who had one passenger with him at the time, described himself as “in shock”.
Customers were still able to access the Morrisons car park.
