FANS of super cars were left all revved up when an East Lancashire motor show returned.

Pendle Powerfest attracted more than 2,000 people to Nelson and Colne College with this year's theme being the Italian Job.

Amongst the star attractions on the day were Italian Job Minis, a Porsche 918 Spyder, as well as Teslas, Ferraris and Lamborghinis.

Fans of films and television were also able to see the car from Mad Max Interceptor, alongside iconic vehicles from Knight Rider, The A-Team, Dad’s Army and Wallace and Gromit.

There was also live music, face painting, BMX demonstrations, zorbs and appearances from stock car racing legend Frankie Wainman Senior and blind land speed breaker Mike Newman.

Organisers are already planning next year's event around mud and motorsport.

Event manager Chris Walker said: "On behalf of our team of 12 volunteer organisers, I would like to say thank you to everyone who has supported us in any way or to the thousands of you who attended our show.

"We hope that you had a great day out and will come back and see us again next year when we celebrate mud and motorsport."
