COMMUTERS were significantly delayed between Preston and Lancaster this morning due to a train fault.
Virgin Trains said some southbound lines were blocked and some northbound services terminated at Preston.

Passengers who were delayed by more than 30 minutes will be able to claim compensation for the inconvenience - on the Virgin Trains website.
Coaches were ordered to divert people around the affected area.
