THREE arrests have been made following house searches in Chorley.

Police carried out two house searches and several intelligence-led stop searches which led to the arrests.

Two of these were in connection with the supply of class A drugs and one was for possession of class B drugs.

A spokesman for Chorley police said: “Thursday saw a day of action by local officers and divisional support staff targeting the supply of Class A drugs in the Chorley area.

“A quantity of what is believed to be class A drugs along with cash was seized.

“Our message is clear, drug dealing on the streets of Chorley will not be tolerated and we will target those responsible for this type of offence.”
