A NELSON man who told a British Telecom operator that there was a bomb in the Charles Street area of the town has been told he might be facing jail.
Scott Michael Luke Robinson, 29, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to making the hoax bomb threat in October last year when he appeared before a judge at Burnley Crown Court.

Defence counsel Hugh Barton said his client had a history of mental health problems, which included hospital admissions on occasion.
Mr Barton said the defendant was concerned about the potential impact of any custodial term he may receive on his mental wellbeing.
Remanding him in custody until June 16 for sentence, Judge Beverley Lunt said the probation service would explore the prospect of a range of punishments, from jail to assistance and support in the community.
