A 43-YEAR-OLD man has appeared before Blackburn magistrates following an incident in Accrington Road in which two men were stabbed.
Mark Hilton, of Accrington Road, Blackburn, was sent in custody to Preston Crown Court charged with wounding Colin Wright with intent to cause him grievous bodily harm, assaulting Steven Gregson, possessing a knife and an axe in Accrington road and threatening Colin Wright jnr in the William Hill Bookmakers.

All the offences are alleged to have been committed on Saturday.
Catherine Allan, prosecuting, said the injuries to Mr Wright had initially been feared to be life threatening but his condition had improved over the weekend.
Hilton was sent in custody to Preston Crown Court where he will appear on June 6.
