A LARGE cannabis farm has been discovered at a house in Blackburn.

Police officers were called to a house in Langham Road at 6pm yesterday where around 220 plants were found.

Inspector John Fryer said the landlord had called the police after he thought the house was being broken into.

He said: “We were called at 6pm to a house in Langham Road and discovered a cannabis farm of around 220 plants.

“We arrived at 6pm and had to wait for Electricity North West to make the house safe as it was considered electrically dangerous.

“We then had to wait until it was light to enter the house and officers are still at the scene.”
