FIREFIGHTERS were called to a fire at a former Ribble Valley pub amid fears children may have been trapped inside.
The fire, which is being treated as arson, happened at the derelict Moorcock Inn, Slaidburn Road, in Waddington.

Firefighters from Clitheroe attended the incident at 2.30pm on Sunday and found that nobody was inside but there was a small fire in the ballroom. They used an aqua pack to extinguish the fire.
Nobody was injured and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
A fire service spokesman said: "An investigation alongside the police is now underway."
