THE 'unexplained' death of an Accrington man did not involve 'foul play' according to the police.
Naheem Ashraf, of Frederick Street, was found dead in an alleyway near Hyndburn Road on Christmas Eve.
A post mortem has been carried out and the Blackburn Coroner is awaiting a cause of death before the inquest is opened.
No date has yet been set for the opening to be heard.
A spokeswoman for the police said that no 'foul play' was involved in his death according to recent tests that have been carried out.
Police have been treating the death as 'unexplained'.
