Assault denied
STUART Dunne, 42, of Whitebirk Road, Blackburn, pleaded not guilty to assaulting his wife, Vicky Dunne, and making threats to kill her when he appeared before the town’s magistrates. He was sent to Preston Crown Court to stand trial.
Man bailed
ZAHOOR Alam, 36, of Richmond Hill Street, Accrington, was remanded on bail by Blackburn magistrates after pleading not guilty to a charge of assaulting Aqeeb Ali.
Attack charge
ALERIC George McKee, 21, of Sparth Avenue, Clayton-le-Moors, was remanded on bail by Blackburn magistrates after pleading not guilty to assaulting Alan Hymas.
