HFE is an award winning training provider to the active leisure sector, delivering fitness, sport and exercise based apprenticeships throughout the North West region. Attending the event last year was a great success for HFE because they met with a number of our students who were interested in pursuing careers in the fitness sector.

Lee Cain Managing Director of HFE states, “Last year’s event was a great success. Our apprenticeship team were able to meet with a number of enthusiastic young people who were keen to join the fitness profession. Many of those joined our apprenticeship programme are now in the final phases of their intermediate apprenticeship and are preparing to progress to a higher level of programme within the next 4-5 months. They’ll also be due a pay rise for their employers once they qualify!”

Yvette Sanderson, Apprenticeship Manager at HFE says, “It’s always an exciting and well organised event. We have always found St Mary’s students to be eager and enthusiastic so this is a great opportunity to engage with them directly.”

Exhibitors can arrive from 11am to set up, with the event starting at 11.30am. We anticipate this year’s event will once again prove to be a resounding success. If you would like to join us as an exhibitor at the event please contact j.donaldson@stmarysblackburn.ac.uk for further details.
