Blackburn magistrates
A 38-YEAR-OLD man was caught on CCTV assaulting his girlfriend in Accrington town centre.
Blackburn magistrates heard Andrew Hill was seen punching Carla Bates before pushing her onto a bench.
And when she ran off he chased her and assaulted her again.
Hill, of William Street, Clayton-le-Moors, pleaded guilty to assaulting Miss Bates. He was sent on bail to Burnley Crown Court to be sentenced after the court was told the offence put him in breach of a suspended prison sentence order imposed by the Crown Court.
