Suspected loan sharks arrested after police raids across Lancashire
SUSPECTED loan sharks have been arrested after raids including at an address in Chorley yesterday.
Two men, aged 69 and 51 and two women, aged 63 and 44 were taken into custody on suspicion of illegal money lending following an operation in the town and West Lancashire.

The England illegal money lending team, Trading Standards and Lancashire police executed warrants at two addresses seizing laptops, iPads, documentation and mobile phones.
Tony Quigley, head of the illegal money lending team, said: “We will continue to work to combat loan sharks.
“They can cause untold misery to the most disadvantaged in our communities.”
