A MELLOR hotel has won a national award at this year’s Good Spa Guide Awards.
Stanley House Hotel and Spa off Further Lane was awarded the ‘above and beyond’ award which celebrates spas that go the extra mile.

The spa is the only venue in Lancashire to receive a national award, and follows recommendations by an expert panel of judges who have been anonymously visiting and reviewing spas across England over the past year.
Philip Wharton, general manager at Stanley House Hotel and Spa, received the award on behalf of the team at a ceremony in Stratford-Upon Avon.
He said: “It has always been our aim to offer an experience like no other and so we are thrilled the experts have recognised our high levels of excellence.
“It’s an amazing achievement for our hotel team who have worked hard during a very busy year.”
