A KNIFE-WIELDING masked man escaped with cash after raiding a supermarket, police said.
The alleged armed robbery took place at the Co-operative store on Union Road, Oswaldtwistle at around 7.30pm on Sunday evening.

Police said a man entered the store with his face covered with a scarf and was holding a knife.
He then threatened staff at the store.
The suspect took around £100 from the till before making off.
Police later arrested a 37-year-old local man in connection with the incident.
He remains in custody today while being questioned by detectives.
