Remanded on bail

GORDON John Riley, 27, of South Street, Accrington, was remanded on bail by Blackburn magistrates after pleading not guilty to racially aggravated threatening behaviour.

It is also alleged that he damaged the bonnet of a Ford Tourneo belonging to Mohammed Ashfaq.

 

Drink driving

AARON Houghton, 20, of Bold Street, Accrington, was fined £250 with £150 criminal court charge, £85 costs and £25 victim surcharge and banned from driving for 12 months by Blackburn magistrates.

He was fined after pleading guilty to driving with excess alcohol on Bolton Road, Blackburn.

 

Drug charge

ZAFFRAN Hussain, 23, of Princess Gardens, Blackburn, was bailed to Preston Crown Court when, facing magistrates, he was charged with possessing cannabis with intent to supply.

 

Drink driving

DOMINIC Rosney, 22, of Wyfordby Avenue, Blackburn, was banned from driving for two years and fined £125 with £150 criminal court charge, £85 costs and £20 victim surcharge when he appeared before Blackburn magistrates and pleaded guilty to driving with excess alcohol on Beardwood Brow.

 

Teenager is bound over

CONNOR Taylor, 19, of Moorgate Street, Blackburn, was bound over in £100 to keep the peace for six months by Blackburn magistrates after admitting a breach of the peace.

The court heard police had been called by Taylor’s mother because he was drunk and causing problems.

He was told to leave but came back an hour later and was arrested.
