A SCHOOL has issued a get-well-soon message to a member of staff who suffered serious injuries after being crushed between a caravan and a wall in Accrington.
Guilda Parkinson was airlifted to hospital was airlifted to Royal Preston Hospital after suffering a punctured lung and broken ribs during the incident. She is still in hospital.

Children and staff at Peel Park Primary School in Accrington, where Mrs Parkinson works, were left shocked by the news Head teacher Judith Williams said: “Guilda is a much-loved welfare lady who works with the foundation stage children. We pass on our sincerest wishes and pray for a speedy recovery.”
The incident when Mrs Parkinson, of Burnley Road, was attempting to guide the driver of a Land Rover, which was towing the caravan, down am alleyway off Peel Park Avenue. As the driver attempted to turn the vehicle Mrs Parkinson became wedged between the caravan and a brick wall.
