THE Leigh Journal office has moved to the town centre.
The office is now in Bold Street in Leigh after moving from Railway Road where it has been for more than 50 years.
Reception staff Anita Stokes, Marie Bibby and Lauren Murphy will remain working in the office, which will now also be open on Fridays.
Leigh Journal editor Lynn Ashwell said it was an exciting time for the newspaper.
She said: "The Leigh Journal has always had a strong connection to the community so we are delighted to be opening the new office in the town centre.
"If you have an advert or a story for us then please feel free to pop in and have a chat. We are delighted to be able to have a continued presence in the town centre."
The office's new opening times are Monday 9am – 5.30pm, Tuesday 9am – 3.30pm, Wednesday CLOSED, Thursday 10am – 3pm, Friday CLOSED.
Anita said: “The office is in a great location. We hope that all our loyal readers continue to come in to see us and that the office here thrives for as long, if not longer, than the previous one.”
