BURNLEY banking revolutionary Dave Fishwick will be back in your front room this autumn hosting a new Channel 4 show.

The minibus mogul is co-presenting What’s It Worth?, a four-part series delving into how the public is getting ripped off.

MORE TOP STORIES:

The show is produced by Ricochet, which is owned by entertainment giant Warner Bros.

Filming has sent the self-made millionaire across the globe in search of stories and investigations.

Mr Fishwick said: “I like making television that makes a difference to people — and this series is all about getting a better deal for consumers. Warner Bros are fantastic to work for and we have done some really big stuff. I have been from one end of the world to the other.”

The Burnley star is joined by Kate Quilton, whose recent series Superfoods: The Real Story probed the myths behind dieting.

Mr Fishwick said: “Kate is great to work with and brings plenty of glamour to the show.

“I am really looking forward to the series being shown.”

What’s It Worth? addresses everyday scenarios and breaks down why goods and services cost what they do.

Major questions posed include: l Why do people pay different prices for tickets on the same flight?

l Why is printer ink so expensive?

l What is the true cost of a funeral?

Mr Fishwick made his media name with his 2011 programme Bank Of Dave, in which he set up his own savings and loans company determined to show he could do a better job than the high-street financial institutions.

The programme was a huge hit and was nominated for a Bafta in the category for best television features.

He followed that up with Dave: Loan Ranger, where he tackled payday loan companies, and Fishwick Out Of Water, which saw him dropped into a random UK town with £1 and left to make a fresh fortune.
