LANCASHIRE County Council is reminding people to plan their journeys around delays expected when the Tour of Britain cycle race hits the county.
The second stage of the tour will take place around Pendle and the Ribble Valley on Monday causing significant disruption to travel in the area near the route.

Traffic levels will be higher than usual due to the arrival of thousands of spectators, and a number of roads will be closed or partially closed.
County Councillor John Fillis, cabinet member for highways and transport, said: “We’re asking people to think ahead now about their travel plans.”
Temporary rolling road closures will be in place along the route for up to an hour depending on the distance between riders.
Delays are expected on the A59 between Copster Green and West Marton, the A56 between Broughton and Burnley, the A682 between Gisburn and Nelson as well as the A6068 between Padiham and Nelson.
