INDIE rock band Spector celebrated the launch of their new album by performing a stripped-back gig in Blackburn.

The four-piece band from London were at the Head Music store, King William Street.

Singles All The Sad Young Men and Bad Boyfriend have already earned rave reviews and now the band are releasing third single, Stay High, as well as their eagerly anticipated second album Moth Boys.

Vocalist Fred Macpherson said: “Stay High is about keeping yourself distracted while everything around you goes wrong.

“When all that’s left of your relationship are dates booked on Groupon and your sense of adventure are offers on lastminute.com it’s hard not to want to dislodge yourself from reality.”

Produced by the band with Dev Hynes, Duncan Mills and Adam Jaffrey, Moth Boys is a leap forward for the band following their debut top 20 album Enjoy It While It Lasts.
