A LORRY crashed into a railway bridge in Blackburn this morning.
The lorry is believed to have struck the bridge on the A666 Bolton Road, Ewood at around 7.45am.
The accident occurred between Longshaw Lane and Aqueduct Road near the petrol station.
Bolton Road Southbound has reopened after an earlier closure which affected traffic heading away from Blackburn towards Darwen.
An eye witness reported that the Blackburn-bound truck appeared to have misjudged the height of the bridge.
