AN artificial beach which attracted hundreds of families last year has been welcomed back by the Blackburn BID on its return to Town Hall Square.

The Blackburn Beach, organised by Blackburn with Darwen Council, runs throughout August and has a whole host of activities for children including fun rides, water balls, coconut climbing and a minion-themed slide.

“The Blackburn Beach will be a fun-filled, family friendly few weeks that will give people a chance to come together to enjoy themselves.”
