AN Accrington woman celebrating her 24th birthday with a night out in Blackpool was knocked out after being punched in the face several times.
Police in the seaside resort have appealed for witnesses to the assault, which happened outside Ma Kelly's Bar in Talbot Road, close to Blackpool North train station, at around 10.30pm on Saturday.

DS Simon Gray said: "We know that there were a number of people in the area at the time of the incident and some who intervened prior to our arrival at the scene.
“I would urge those witnesses to come forward and tell us what you saw to assist us with our enquiries.”
A 29-year-old man from Accrington was arrested on suspicion of assault and bailed until August 17 while officers investigate.
