ALMOST 2,000 people are expected to attend a free barbecue and family fun event in Clitheroe Castle grounds on Saturday.
The event will be staged for three hours from noon to 3pm and will include a three legged races and tug of war.
There will also be gladiators, face painting and craft making taking place on Clitheroe Castle field.
This is the sixth year Clitheroe Christians in Partnership have hosted this free event for the whole town.
Last year more than 500 people were served a free hot dog or burger and this year the event will be bigger with activities including a football cage, coconut shy and bouncy castle being added.
Information will also be provided about the ways the host of different churches serve the town. Prayer for healing will also be available at the fun day.
