The SCARs is a collaboration between ScareCON and ScareTOUR, two of the leading bodies in scare entertainment, and are part of a weekend of fright night fun including scare mazes, workshops, talks and a trade show.
Jason Karl, chief creative executive for Scare Kingdom Scream Park, said: "Winning the award is testament to the dedication my team and I put into creating such ground-breaking, boundary pushing entertainment year on year.
"The county has a great history of providing alternative entertainment to the public, dating right back to the old curiosity shows that once graced Blackpool and beyond, so it makes us extremely proud to know we’re keeping Lancashire firmly on the map, not just for horror, but for entertainment full stop.”
The attraction is based in Longsight Road, Clayton-le-Dale.
