A POPULAR Rossendale village bakery has gone on sale.
Cordeys Craft Bakery, in Waterfoot, is up for sale for £200,000, including the two flats above the shops.
Two years ago the family quashed rumours saying that they were closing down which were been circulating in the village.
Ryan Cordey said he had set up a new parent company, Hannjo Ltd, after his brother Anthon said he no longer wanted to be involved in the business, Rossendale Bakeries Ltd.
The bakery was set up by Ryan’s grandmother, Nora, back in the 1950s but a second store in Bacup closed in 2013 when a supermarket opened in the town.
Last June Ashiq Hussain announced he wanted to convert the shop on St James Street in Bacup into a takeaway.
