FAST broadband could be available at 97 per cent of Lancashire’s homes and businesses by the end of 2015.
Superfast Lancashire, led by Lancashire County Council, is installing fibre to enable faster downloading and file transferring.

The project hopes to connect rural areas of Lancashire that currently have limited broadband; encourage new business opportunities and start-ups; promote flexibility through being able to work from home; and support a better quality of life by increasing accessibility to new services.
Currently 675,000 customers are benefitting.
