POLICE are appealing for help to find a woman and her two children who are missing from their home in Blackburn.

Amanda Mellor, 36, and her two children, Love-Leigh Wright, 2, and Hope Wright, 3, were last seen on North Road at around 4.30pm on Thursday evening.

Amanda is described as white, thin build with very long dark black hair. She was last seen wearing a black blazer with a faint pin stripe, a white top, black skinny jeans and black boots and was pushing a black pram.

Love-Leigh was last wearing dark leggings, tan boots, a white fluffy cardigan and a brown checked jacket.

Hope was last seen wearing a red and white summer school uniform dress and a red hooded coat.

PS Simon Holderness of Blackburn Police said: “We are getting very concerned about Amanda and her two children and if any has seen them or knows where they are then please do get in touch with us as soon as possible. I would also urge Amanda, if she sees this appeal, to make contact with us to let us know that she and her children are safe.”
