St Mary’s Art Department is delighted to hear that all of their seven applicants to the prestigious Foundation Art course at Manchester Metropolitan University have received offers. All these students are all currently studying A Level Fine Art, amongst other subjects, at the College. It is quite unusual for so many applicants from the same establishment to be accepted.

The course offers the traditional route to studying art and design at Higher Education, which enables the students to experience and develop a wide variety of Art and Design techniques and Media.

Andrea Westall, Head of Art, said; “We are immensely proud of all our students’ hard work, it is lovely to see that they are widely appreciated by other Art institutions. We were particularly delighted by the diverse portfolios that the students put together.”
