THE bodies of two people have been discovered by police at a home in Chorley.
Police were called to an address on Great Meadow, Astley Village shortly before 4.20pm on Tuesday, April 14 following a report of the sudden death of a woman.
Officers attended and found the body of a 76-year-old female.

Also in the house was the body of an 81-year-old man, who is believed to have been dead for some time.
While their deaths are currently being treated as unexplained officers investigating said there were no suspicious circumstances at this stage and police are liaising closely with the coroners’ office.
A post mortem to establish the cause of their deaths is scheduled to take place in due course.
Officers are appealing for anyone with any information that could assist with their enquiries to contact them on 101 quoting log number 879 of April 14.
