A quick glance around the Black Country and North Worcestershire suggests the roads are looking okay in general, apart from where there are ongoing road works and the usual morning rush hour hot spots. Some to look out for are:

There is slow traffic on the M42 northbound between J2, A441 (Alvechurch) and J3, A435 (Portway).

Queuing traffic on the A4123 New Birmingham Road southbound in Tividale between the Lower City Road junction and Birchley Island.

One lane is closed on the A456 Birmingham Road in Hagley between the Monument Lane junction and the Wassell Grove Lane junction, because of roadworks. Expect delays.

Temporary traffic lights on the B4497 Icknield Street Drive in Redditch at the Ipsley Church Lane junction are causing slow traffic in the area.

Century Road in Oldbury is closed in both directions between the Broadwell Road junction and the Mc Kean Road junction, because of sewer works. There is a diversion in operation - via Broadwell Rd, Birmingham Rd, Birmingham St, Simpson St and McKean Rd.
