BLACKBURN Youth Zone is set to attempt to set a new world record for the longest five-a-side football match.
The supporters and staff members are hoping to raise £2,000 for the youth zone.
The match will take place from Friday, April 10, to Tuesday, April 14.
A spokesman said: "This is an immense commitment both physically and mentally but more importantly it is for a great cause.
"Monies are being raised for Blackburn Youth Zone.
"They are a registered charity in the heart of Blackburn town centre, dedicated to young people aged eight to18 years providing somewhere to go, something to do and someone to talk to for just 50p.
"They are open all year round, 7 days a week and offers over 20 activities each evening."
