TWO teenage boys were taken to hospital last night after a car crashed into a Ford Focus they were travelling in and a house.

The black Renault Clio ploughed into the property in Wytham Street, Padiham, after first colliding with the Ford in Abingdon Road and a Nissan Micra in Cambridge Drive.

One of the boys suffered an injury to his wrist and the other to his face and both were taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital.

Lancashire Police were called to the scene shortly after 8pm and a police spokeswoman said that no arrests had been made at this time.

It is believed that the occupants of the Renault Clio made off from the scene and the police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.

The car’s collision with the house caused damage to its front door and porch.
