FEMALE chartered accountants still experience a "glass ceiling" at work.
A new report from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland today said the "macho" culture of long hours meant many females struggled to become partners.
Ironically, the findings follow a big jump in the number of women joining the profession.
