A sponsored 24-hour pool and darts marathon will take place in Rishton on Friday to raise funds for a youngster struck down by a degenerative brain disease.
The family and friends of three-year-old Nicholas Robinson, from Beech Street, Great Harwood, have set up the Nicholas Appeal fund to raise money for specialist equipment for the toddler, who has Alpers Disease.
They hope to raise £100,000 for specialist medical equipment.
The event will be held from 8pm at the Rishton Legion on Walmsley Street.
