Watch manager Rob Birtwistle said: “The computer server had set on fire in the computer server room.

“The building was smoke logged and we were there until about 1.45am today clearing the building, which was full of smoke.

“It is one of the brand new buildings. The computer server is completely destroyed and the computer room was also damaged by the smoke.

“It is possible the fire was caused by overheating of the server unit.”
