THE Anchor pub in Blackburn Road, Darwen, is raffling off one of the Tower of London poppies that were used to mark the 100th anniversary of the outbreak of the First World War last year.

All money raised from the raffle will be donated to this year’s Poppy Appeal.

Tickets cost £1 and can be bought from the pub. The raffle will be drawn on St George’s Day, April 23.
