THE Ribble Valley’s answer to the ‘Fresh Prince’ may have met his princess when he he landed a date on the ITV1 show Take Me Out.

Personal trainer and scuba diving instructor, Will Smith, from Longridge made his debut on the dating show on Saturday impressing presenter Paddy McGuinness’ 30 flirty girls.

The 21-year-old who wears his heart on his sleeve won a date after proving he doesn’t take himself too seriously.

But it was lucky Harriette Beazer who caught the eye of the Coronation Street fan who will be spending a date on the Isle of Fernando’s.

After his appearance on the primetime show, Will has attracted an army of fans on social media site Twitter, with dedicated fans also referring to him as the ‘Fresh Prince’.

He said: “I love that I have been getting some attention since the show, I signed an autograph for a nine-year-old and had a photo with her last week and then a few days later a man stopped to chat about my baked bean addiction whilst I was filling up my car. It’s crazy.”

The show was filmed over a week last November after producers approached Will when they saw his twitter profile.

Will said: “It was a stupidly busy week but it was totally worth it, I would recommend it to anyone.

“In the space of a week I had travelled down to Kent for filming and then the next thing I know I am on the Isle of Fernando’s.”

Boss Model Management have also approached Will and he has now signed a contract with them.

He said: “I’ve been busy with work since I have joined the modelling agency.

“I also have an audition for a new show that is coming to ITV called Warrior UK, it is aired in America and is coming to the UK, it is similar to the show Gladiators.

“I’ve never done an audition before, because I was asked by the producer to join Take Me Out- I might not even get it yet but fingers crossed.”

Will has taken to Twitter to thank presenter Paddy McGuinness for his help since he came down the love lift. To find out if Will finds love on the Isle of Fernando’s fans will have to tune in to the show on Saturday.
