Residents left without water in Bacup
RESIDENTS in Bacup are without running water.
United Utilities said a leak in Oakenclough Road has been reported, although the source of the problem was latest found to be a leak in Hazel Grove.

A spokesman said: "A team of engineers has been requested to attend as soon as possible.
"We’re sorry for the trouble this may be causing you and we will get your taps flowing normally again as quickly as we can."
The company said residents in the OL13 postcode area may have noticed water coming out of their taps slower than usual or that it may have gone off altogether.
It was not immediately clear how many homes have been affected.
