A PLASTIC picnic table was destroyed at a Blackburn school after a rubbish fire was started last night.
Firefighters were called to St Francis' CE Primary School in Cherry Tree Lane at 9.50pm after receiving reports of a small rubbish fire being lit at the school.

The crew was at the scene for 20 minutes and the picnic table suffered severe damage.
