HYNDBURN Council has welcomed news that more than 200 jobs could be created after Kleeneze announced it was moving a factory to the area.
The mail-order cleaning products company is relocating from Bristol to two sites in Clayton-le-Moors and Church.
The move comes after Findel plc acquired the assets of Kleeneze in October last year.
Findle is a home shopping company which includes Church-based Express Gifts and a call centre in Clayton.
A spokesman for the company said Kleeneze would continue to operate as a separate business and it was anticipated that a significant number of positions would be created at the new location.
